The Avian Medical Center was established in 1984, and is currently the only veterinary clinic exclusively for birds in Oregon. Located in Lake Oswego, we’re just a short drive from downtown Portland. Our staff are experienced, well trained and have birds of their own.
Before you leave you should give The Avian Medical Center a call at (503) 635-5672 and alert them that you are inbound. Even larger clinics and hospitals prefer when you give them a heads up so they can prepare to receive you. Depending on your pet's emergency, they may have to call in off-duty vets for additional support.
