Here at Pet Vets 24/7, our mission is simple - to ensure that you and your pets get the help you need when you need it. When you're in the middle of a pet emergency, the last thing you want to worry about is how you're going to find an emergency vet near you. That's where we come in. Our database consists of more than 5,000 emergency vet clinics from everywhere around the country. No matter where you are, you're likely within several hours drive of at least one of the clinics on our list.
Our Goal
Our website is set up for people who are in the midst of a pet emergency that's above and beyond what their general vet can handle. Most general vets are only licensed and trained to help with basic, everyday issues, whereas emergency situations require vets with extra training and certification.

Each of our articles is written by a professional researcher and concerned pet owner, and reviewed by a licensed veterinarian. Our goal is to provide you with the best and most accurate information so that you can make the right decision for your pet. Finally, our ultimate goal is to make sure that we give you the help that you need when you need it most. Whether that help is in the form of an article or in helping you find an emergency vet near you doesn't matter to us. The Team
Dr. Paula Simons
Dr. Paula Simons is an Emergency and Critical Care veterinary resident on her way to becoming a veterinary criticalist. She is originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and completed her veterinary training in Ontario, Canada, at Ontario Veterinary College. Dr. Paula Simons has a particular interest in critical care nutrition, trauma, and pain management. She enjoys the management of surgical patients and troubleshooting complex cases. Additionally, she is a huge advocate for her patients and ensuring their comfort. She has two cats named Moo and Kal, whom she loves dearly.
Kristia Goodnight
Kristia is a freelance content creator specializing in the pet care niche. She is from Ft. Wayne, Indiana, and attended Indiana-Purdue University Ft. Wayne, pursuing a bachelor's degree in Visual Communications. Kristia is a lifelong pet parent. She recently adopted two shelter cats, Sugar and Pepper, who have put bite marks into every (artificial) plant in her home.
Jalin Coblentz
Jalin Coblentz grew up on a small farm and has spent his whole life around animals. He currently lives in Sarasota, Florida, with his wife and their Goldendoodle, Harper, and enjoy hiking, golfing, and living the RV life.

Kyle Jacobs is an avid outdoors enthusiast who loves nothing more than spending a day hiking through the mountains with his beloved labradoodle by his side.
