As the only 24-hour emergency facility in Tippecanoe County, Indiana, the Emergency Service at Purdue University offers emergency care to animals in our community and beyond. The staff of the Emergency Service practice emergency and critical care nursing skills specifically for small animal patients.
Before you leave you should give Purdue University Small Animal Hospital a call at (765) 494-1107 and alert them that you are inbound. Even larger clinics and hospitals prefer when you give them a heads up so they can prepare to receive you. Depending on your pet's emergency, they may have to call in off-duty vets for additional support.
