The LSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital is open 24/7, seven days a week, 365 days a year to serve animals. We have the most board-certified specialists under one roof in Louisiana and offer a variety of specialty services, as well as primary care for animals.
Before you leave you should give LSU School of Veterinary Medicine a call at (225) 578-9600 and alert them that you are inbound. Even larger clinics and hospitals prefer when you give them a heads up so they can prepare to receive you. Depending on your pet's emergency, they may have to call in off-duty vets for additional support.
