Dr. Hughes originally opened Hughes Animal Hospital in Malvern in the fall of 1989. After practicing for 24 years he sold his clinic and worked as a relief veterinarian in surrounding counties for a few years. When the opportunity presented itself to return “home”, Dr.Hughes happily returned to practice in Malvern, opening a new clinic doing business as Hughes Animal Hospital again.
Before you leave you should give Hughes Animal Hospital a call at (501) 337-7387 and alert them that you are inbound. Even larger clinics and hospitals prefer when you give them a heads up so they can prepare to receive you. Depending on your pet's emergency, they may have to call in off-duty vets for additional support.
