The Hampshire Veterinary Hospital in Amherst is fully equipped to provide intensive care and surgery. We provide urgent care 24 hours/day, the majority of the time at our hospital but, if necessary, will refer to an emergency facility.
Before you leave you should give Hampshire Veterinary Hospital a call at (413) 549-5800 and alert them that you are inbound. Even larger clinics and hospitals prefer when you give them a heads up so they can prepare to receive you. Depending on your pet's emergency, they may have to call in off-duty vets for additional support.
