Dr. Stephanie Polley opened Denton County Animal ER in 2002 to serve the emergency and critical care needs of dogs and cats in the Denton County area. Since that time, DCAER has been providing high quality after-hours emergency care to pets and is recognized as a compassionate and skilled emergency care provider.
Before you leave you should give Denton County Animal ER a call at (940) 271-1200 and alert them that you are inbound. Even larger clinics and hospitals prefer when you give them a heads up so they can prepare to receive you. Depending on your pet's emergency, they may have to call in off-duty vets for additional support.
