Aloha Veterinary Center was conceived with the notion of bringing permanent veterinary care to the Big Island of Hawaii. Prior to its inception, all complicated medical and surgical cases were referred to Honolulu.
Before you leave you should give Aloha Veterinary Center a call at (808) 427-2400 and alert them that you are inbound. Even larger clinics and hospitals prefer when you give them a heads up so they can prepare to receive you. Depending on your pet's emergency, they may have to call in off-duty vets for additional support.
