If you believe your pet is in a state of emergency please bring them to the hospital immediately (you do not need an appointment). We are available to treat your pet for any given emergency 24 hours/day 7 days/week including holidays. Always feel free to call in advance and speak with one of our emergency specialist who will provide you with the best information for you and your pet.
Before you leave you should give Advanced Veterinary Specialists a call at 805-729-4460 and alert them that you are inbound. Even larger clinics and hospitals prefer when you give them a heads up so they can prepare to receive you. Depending on your pet's emergency, they may have to call in off-duty vets for additional support.
